Sharon K. Jordan

Sharon Kay Jordan, age 75 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born September 29, 1948, in Coldwater, Michigan the daughter of Magnus Lloyd “Red” and Lillian Elizabeth (Bishop) Kubale. Sharon was a 1966 graduate of Athens High School. She had worked at Felpausch/Zucca’s as a cashier for many years, as well as The Half Off Card Shop and Orchard Park Grocery. Sharon loved animals, especially her cats. She loved to read and do puzzles. On October 24, 1970, she married John Andrew Jordan who preceded her in death on July 8, 2017. She was also preceded by her parents. Sharon is survived by four children: Jennifer (Todd) Munn of Vicksburg, Andrea (Marty) Trautman of Battle Creek, Sarah (Michael) Grubb of Athens and Christopher (Danielle) Jordan of Nashville, MI; five grandchildren: Gwen Trautman, Ian Trautman, Gage Jordan, Madyson Jordan and Samuel Grubb; two brothers-in-law: James Jordan and Joseph Jordan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 3:00 o’clock with Rev. Dr. James M. Gysel officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  A private interment will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
