Steven "Weasel" Knell

Steven Lynn "Weasel" Knell, 62, died at home October 19, 2022, in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Steven was born in Battle Creek to Richard C. and Patricia A. (Vaughn) Knell on September 9, 1960. He attended Lakeview Schools. He was a lifelong resident of Battle Creek and an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. Weasel enjoyed listening to rock music, feeding birds, and loved his cats.

Steven is survived by his father, Richard C. Knell, sister, Victoria (Knell) Orr, nieces, Andrea (Casey) Guehl, Crystal (Dave) McCormick, and "stepson" Stephen McKinney II. Steven also has a brother, Richard V. (Mary) Knell and niece, Tara Gault. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia A. Knell, Brother-in-law, Gary A. Orr, and longtime girlfriend, Rebecca McKinney.

Cremation has taken place. The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date. www.henryfuneralhome.org
