Terry Burleson

Terry Robert Burleson, age 69, of Battle Creek passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. He was born June 8, 1953, at Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit, Michigan the son of Ellis Gerald Burleson and Katherine McLean Watson. Born and raised in the Detroit Metro area, he spent many years in Warren, MI. He studied at the Michigan Career and Technical Institute and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a medical service specialist. He worked on the production line at Chevrolet Warren and held several positions in the health care field following his discharge, including Certified Nursing Assistant and Paramedic. Terry was a Christian attending various denominations throughout his life and was currently attending Family Altar Chapel. He enjoyed woodburning, fishing, cooking, servant leadership, fellowship and time spent with his son and family. Surviving is his son Terry R. Burleson, Jr. of Battle Creek, sister Chris Eason of Goldsboro, NC, and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Janice Burleson and Karen Bastianelli. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 12, 2022, at Fort Custer National Cemetery followed by a Memorial Service and luncheon at Family Altar Chapel beginning at 12:30 P.M.
