Warren Edward Flowers, age 73 of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo surrounded by his family. He was born on August 16, 1951, in Sturgis, Michigan, the son of Robert Lee and Edna Louise (Cain) Flowers. He graduated from Centreville High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, he attended Western Michigan University earning a bachelor’s degree. He worked at Denso for 14 years as a Maintenance Team Leader and most recently was a project engineer at TRMI for several years. Warren had been a member of the Masonic Lodge and was known to have a great sense of humor. While visiting Hong Kong in February of 2000, he met Jennefer (Huliganga) and they were married August 1, 2000, in the Philippines where she lived. He is survived by his wife Jennefer Flowers of Battle Creek; two children: Allison (Chris) Lasinski of Kalamazoo and Joana (Ryan) Hinkley of Battle Creek; two grandchildren: Ella and Blake Lasinski; a sister Dawn Heisler of Plainwell and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Robert, mother Edna and stepfather Robert H. Bowen, and two brothers: Robert Lee Flowers and Dale Wesley Bowen. The family will receive friends at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and a service to celebrate his life will follow at 3:00 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. www.henryfuneralhome.org
