Wendell Shepherd age 73, of Battle Creek passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Bronson-Battle Creek Hospital. He was born February 5, 1943, the son of Henry and Arabelle (Coder) Shepherd. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Shepherd and a sister, Gladys Pryer. Wendell is survived by five brothers; Harold Shepherd of Greenfield, Ohio, Chuck Shepherd of Concord, Michigan, William Shepherd of Virginia, Frank Shepherd of Litchfield, Michigan, and Jacob Shepherd of Ohio. Four sisters; Virginia Shepherd of Virginia, Clara Sanders of Tekonsha, Michigan, Susan Redding of Atlanta, Ohio, and Mary Redding of Kentucky. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Pulaski Cemetery, Hanover, Michigan. www.henryfuneralhome.org
