David Michael Mosby, 73, of Battle Creek, MI passed away on February 20th, 2021 at Glenn Arbor Hospice with his wife at his side. He was born July 10th, 1947 in Battle Creek to Emma Jean and Jack Mosby.
David served proudly from 1964-1968 in the Vietnam War as a United States Marine. On February 8th, 1969 David married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Hantz. They built a life in Battle Creek where David worked at Clark Equipment for 14 years. From there he went into DRMS at the Federal Center and then ending his work career at Kellogg’s as a security officer before retiring in 2005.
If there was one thing people knew about David, it was his love for his family. He and Mary had 4 sons and always took in family members/friends of their sons when they needed somewhere to go. He simply did not know how to say no when it came to family. David had a love for anything that would rack his brain. He loved to read, do puzzles, watch the news, and watch westerns.
David was proceeded in death by his parents Jack and Emma, his sister Vicki, two sons Benjamin and Martin, and two grandsons Rodney and Christian. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Mary, Son Michael (Terri) Mosby of Indiana, Son Matthew (Sarah) of Battle Creek, 9 Grandchildren (Ashley, David, Jessica, Kristina, Zachary, Nate, Cody, Benjamin, and Olivia), and 4 Great-Grandchildren (Kaidence, Kennedi, Molly, and Roland).
