A homegoing service will be held at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 291 N. Wood St, Battle Creek, MI 49037.  The service will have limited seating out of an abundance of caution during the Covid-19 pandemic.  It will be streamed live, via the Shiloh Facebook page, for friends and family to attend virtually and will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 12noon; with visitation at 11am.  Donna will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI with her mother.

Donna was a family member and friend to everyone she met.  She spent the majority of her days helping Lewis raise their sons and enjoying their grandchildren.  Donna was very proud of her grandchildren and valued education.  She wanted to be sure her grandchildren would have the opportunity to go to college.  Her savings will establish a scholarship fund for her grandchildren.

Donna will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider helping grow the Donna Nelson Scholarship Fund.  To send gifts for the Donna Nelson Scholarship in her memory, please contact the Williams family via text at (708) 497-9397.
