Keith L. Fletcher

February 7, 1961 ~ November 14, 2022 (age 61) 61 Years Old


Keith L. Fletcher, 61, passed away unexpectedly due to complications of lung cancer on Monday, November 14th. He was the youngest child of Dorothy and Edward Fletcher – born on February 7th,1961 in Battle Creek, and he had four older siblings. Keith achieved in GED in 1979 from Springfield High School and worked at several factories before continuing his education at Kellogg Community College. He graduated in 2012 with an associate degree in human services. He then worked at Goodwill Industries until 2019.  Keith was a survivor of bladder cancer in 2014 and was diagnosed with lung cancer in July of 2022. Even during these tough times, he could always make anyone around him laugh and would help anyone he could. He was an avid Detroit Lions fan and ‘The Walking Dead’ fan, watching both constantly. He was also a horror fan, being fascinated by alien and zombie movies. Keith is preceded in death by his grandparents, uncle Gary, and his older brothers Larry and Bruce. He is survived by his mother Dorothy, siblings Daniel and Mary, his nephew William, and his three children, Caitlin, Kassidy, and Korbin. He also has several family members such as cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss him just as much. There will be a celebration of life for Keith on November 26th at the First United Methodist Church from 12:30-2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a memorial donation be made to their gofundme to offset funeral costs and allow his children to put him to rest. Arrangements made by Richard A.
