Linda Bruce

Linda L. Bruce (Mann), 70, of Umatilla, FL, formerly of Marshall, MI died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.  Linda was born on June 10, 1947 in Chicago, IL to Charles Mann and Mabel Dixon.  She graduated in 1965 from Marshall High School.  Linda married Herbert Fox in 1965, but later they divorced (he still survives).  Linda retired from the U.S. Post Office after 29+ years.  She also worked for American Airlines for 5 years.  Anyone who knew Linda knew she loved cats and reading.  Linda is survived by her two children, Debbi (Lee) Duckham and Scott (Gina) Fox; five grandkids and six great grandkids.  Also, her dear friend since childhood, Sharon “Pud” Simmons.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.  at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 703 Capital Ave S.W., Battle Creek, MI  A graveside service celebrating Linda’s life will take place Thursday, November 2 ^nd at 1:00 at Oakridge Cemetery in Marshall, MI with Pastor Ralph McCarty Officiating.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
