Mikel Munn

Mikel E. Munn, age 58, of Battle Creek, passed away on May 31, 2021, at her residence.  She was born on February 3, 1963, in Battle Creek, the daughter of Lester J. Munn and Sylvia (vonbubla) waychoff.  Mikel was a lifelong area resident and worked many years as a waitress at Planet Rock in Battle Creek.  She enjoyed coloring, reading, and spending time at the water.  Her true love was spending time with her family.  She is survived by her children; Misti Hemminger of Battle Creek, Amber Hemminger of Detroit, Matthew Holevinski of Holten, KS., brother; Martin (Carla) Munn of Dowling, sister; Jacquelyn Munn of Marshall, several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Historic Bridge Park on South Wattles Road, Battle Creek.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
