Robert F. Steglich, age 86, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, passed away on May 17, 2021 at his residence. He was born on March 28, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of Franklin A. and Marjorie (Kath) Steglich. Robert graduated high school in Milwaukee then going on to get his degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering. He proudly went to serve in the United States Marine Corps from 1953 to 1956. Robert resided in Ypsilanti from 1971 until the time of his passing. He was employed by Comshare as a computer hardware specialist, but many knew him as the Fuller “Brush” man. His hobbies include swimming, shooting craps, and was an avid Detroit Lions fan. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, son; Eric Steglich, and a brother; Charles O. Steglich. Surviving are his children; Nadine (Jeno) Marczinko of Tulsa, OK., Krista (Marty) Steglich of Prattville, AL., Julie (Jeremy) Steglich of Belleville, MI., Richard Steglich of Toledo, OH., Alex Steglich of Ypsilanti, MI., sisters; Karen Steglich-Acker, Kristine Steglich, Kathryn Reno, grandchildren; Brianna, Emery, Katelynn, Lilah, great grandchildren; Dennis, Denver, Remington, Everly, and a special Nephew; Jimmy Watson. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Committal services will take place 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, with Pastor Kjersten Sullivan officiating.
