Sandra Kay Hooper, of Battle Creek went to rest on Friday, November 12, 2021, after a long battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Lawrence, Michigan on June 11, 1949, to Boston and Cora Mann, the youngest of 12 children. She is survived by two sisters, Beatrice Sanders from Old Town, FL and Bonnie Aaron from Waskom, TX. Sandy loved doing things with her children and grandchildren and socializing with their great group of friends. Sandy was self-employed throughout her life and retired in 2013 from Real Estate. She is survived by her husband Terry Hooper, son Curt Yancy of Battle Creek, daughters, Denise (Tim) Yancy-Kendall of Bellevue and Kristal (Hooper) Conley of East Leroy. Missing their “Neena” will be her grandchildren: Tiffany Vroman, Jacob Kendall, Mackenzie Kendall, Kamren Hooper, Skylen Conley, Neven Conley, Maisyn Hendrix and Michael Hendrix, along with 5 great grandchildren.
