Beverly Hollingshead

Beverly Hollingshead, age 76, of Battle Creek, passed away on May 15, 2020.  She was born on March 19, 1944, in Manistee, MI., the daughter of Henry and Mabel (Medacco) Saugie.  Beverly moved to the Battle Creek area in 1985, where she was employed and retired from the Battle Creek Federal Center.  She was a member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians.  Beverly enjoyed playing shuffleboard, going to the casino and going out to eat.  She was always happy and enjoyed joking around with people.  She especially loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.  Beverly was united in marriage on May 15, 1992 to Billie Hollingshead, he preceded her in death on October 31, 2004.  She is survived by her children, Amy (Steven) Smith of Auburn, Indiana, Lesley Wilson of Battle Creek, Eugene “JD” (Robyn) Wabindato of Grand Rapids, Christopher Wabindato of Battle Creek, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  Memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Private inurnment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
