Lorraine Tabiadon

Lorraine E. Tabiadon, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 18, 2022 in New Braunfels, TX.  A native of Michigan, she was born May 5, 1927, graduated from BC Central in 1944 and raised her family there. In addition to raising 4 children, she worked as an administrative professional for United Fund, Clark Equipment, Sheriff-Goslin Roofing, Brutsche Concrete Products and Kellogg Company.  She was also a 50-year member of Sweet Adelines and held dual membership in Michigan and Florida.  She loved singing, spending time with family at the lake, hugging on the little ones and going out to eat. She also enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, reading and watching Hallmark Christmas movies. She spent several years in Florida before moving to New Braunfels, TX.  She was married to Bruno Tabiadon, February 2, 1946; he preceded her in death in 1986. Also preceding her in death were her parents Frank and Joanna Radtke, and her brothers and sisters and one grandson. She leaves behind a legacy spanning 4 generations. She is survived by her 4 children: Gloria (Preston) Overstreet, New Braunfels, TX; Ron (Shirley) Tabiadon, Grand Haven, MI; Bonnie Davenport, Hastings, MI; Don (Sandi) Tabiadon, Battle Creek, MI; sister Betty Wolfe, VA. She is also survived by and loved by 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, with the Recitation of The Rosary to take place at  6:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 28, 2022 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of one’s choice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
