Ronald Kloack

Ronald James Kloack, age 79 of Battle Creek passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born July 19, 1942, in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Clyde and Colleen (Coleman) Kloack. He was a 1961 graduate of Climax Scotts High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to 1967. Ron married Connie Birman in 1963 and they had three children, until she lost her battle with cancer in 1979. He later married Evelyn Joann Baird McGhee and gained two more children. Ron and Joann enjoyed 41 years of laughing and dancing together. He is survived by his wife JoAnn; children: Todd (Nancy) Kloack, Michael (Christine) Kloack, Tammy (Clyde) Morgan, Teresa (Doug) Myers and William Gregory McGhee; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; his brother Dan Kloack; brother-in-law James (Char) Beeman; several very special families including the Ganey, Myers, Peugh and Lindauer families, and many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his first wife Connie, his parents Clyde and Colleen, sister Kay Beeman and brother Rex Kloack. Ron retired from Consumers Energy after 32 years and then drove school buses for Harper Creek for 12 years. Landscaping was his hobby, and he did a lot at his home and for family and friends. His sense of humor and wit endeared him to everyone. A memorial service will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with internment to follow at Sherwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
