Vera (Warren) Kornmeyer

Vera M. (Warren) Kornmeyer, age 86, of Battle Creek and formerly of Marshall, MI. passed away on January 10, 2022 at the Laurels of Bedford.  She was born on September 22, 1935 in Marshall, MI., the daughter of Joseph and Ella (McKee) Seiler.  Vera graduated from Marshall High School in 1953.  She worked for Federal Home Life Insurance Company for 21 years, and Denso Manufacturing for 12 years, retiring in 2001.  She previously attended Minges Hills Church of God and was a member of the Moose Lodge Chapter 202 in Marshall.   She was married to Ronald G. Warren Sr. on September 29, 1996, he passed away on July 12, 2000.  She later married Alfred Kornmeyer on March 16, 2002, he also preceded her in death on February 11, 2013.  Also preceding her in death are her parents, son; Douglas Aldrich, and brother, Joseph Seiler Jr.   Surviving are her sons; Glen Stevens Jr. of Radcliffe, KY, Dennis Stevens of Fontana, CA., Timothy Stevens of Battle Creek, Jerry Kornmeyer of Marshall, daughters, Chris Cunningham of Kalamazoo, Grace Yeo of Kalamazoo, several  grandchildren,  great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 703 Capital Ave SW, in Battle Creek.  Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Parker, officiating.  Private interment will take place.  Memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Hospice Care.  Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.henryfuneralhome.org
